From the rally against device legislation to the industry alliance — the story of the Union's birth in 2017.
The Union held its 17th council meeting on 17 April 2024. The council members of the Union's third term (2024–2026) discussed and prepared for the 3rd-term inauguration ceremony, so that the beauty industry gains the recognition and support it deserves.

The Vanité World 2024 International Beauty Skills Competition is a beauty, makeup, lifestyle and wellness event in Singapore showcasing beauty skills from different countries. Competitors can showcase their talent and technique, raise their profile, expand their networks, and even win international awards to further their beauty careers!
The Union opposes the government's forced introduction of a cooling-off period, and firmly opposes any person or body launching any beauty-industry council or monitoring board (whose purpose is to seek private gain). As with the government's device-registration legislation, it would only raise industry costs and make business harder, piling further hardship on the beauty trade.
